Privacy Statement and Data Protection
When you first contact Affordable Therapy, you are asked for your name, email and phone number. We use this information to contact you solely for the purpose of arranging your free assessment. This information will then be passed to your allocated therapist, again solely for the purpose of contacting you.
At your initial assessment, we will gather more information. This information is used solely to enable us to allocate a suitable therapist to you. The information we have gathered is then passed to the therapist and it becomes their responsibility to store it in an ethical manner. If you have any concerns regarding how your therapist stores your information, please speak to them about it.
At the assessment, you will be asked to sign a consent form concerning the use and storage of your information. If you choose not to sign this consent form, it is highly unlikely we will be able to work with you.
Once you have been allocated a therapist, you enter into an agreement with them. If you are concerned about what information they may have and how they may store it, please speak to them about their GDPR policy. All our therapists are members of the ICO.
Once the information has been passed to your therapist, our copy of the information is destroyed. Affordable Therapy does not sell your information to third parties or use it for marketing purposes.
